Something Amiss

Lush greens,

A fantasy book in my lap,

the feel of the wild winds on my face, playing with my hair..

The air of those high hills,

The acrid salty ocean

The gentle shade of trees,

The sand in my toes,

Soil all over my clothes,

The many-hued plump clouds,

The black enveloping night,

A million stars never seen.

Tales from the jungles

Conversations with myself..

The songs in my heart

A million fluttering dreams...
